Taizhong Mayor - Hu zhi Qiang's Public Lecture

We, the Taiwanese Committe, were so nervous about this event. To be honest, I did not know who Hu Zhi Qiang is until we were planning to organise this event.

For this event, I had to wake up early at 8am on Tuesday to post the damn pinkish posters and it was freezing cold!! arghh...

Anyway, Phyllis and I were in charge of counting number of heads so that New Theatre is not overcrowded..but in the end, we heck care..like we can stop them from going in...the theatre itself was fully occupied and some Taiwanese even came all the way from Oxford or Cambridge to London just for his talk...see how attractive he is..though personally, I really do not think so..

Still, I am proud to be part of the committee and I believe my parents will be proud of me, knowing that I had taken a picture with the mayor. wuhaha....!!!

I am the second one counting from the right..others not important, know me k le..hahaha..:P

and, being such a dog lover, I HAVE TO post a picture my dog..who shits and pees everywhere still...

Christmas Dinner by Taiwanese Society

I know, I know , it is still not Christmas yet.

But we could still have our Christmas dinner! wuho~

An event held by the Taiwanese Society ...did I mention that I am the secretary in the committe? :D

This is a joint event held by Imperial College(IC), LSE, King's at TGI Friday's...we would invite UCL if the Taiwanese Society still existed. ..Taiwan dying away...= = ...

Anyway, it is so true that IC has more handsome schools than LSE! Just compare these two pictures below...

Eh..okay, so it turned out that I forgot to take picture for IC group...Well..LSE guys are not bad...and...hmm..I am such a liar. haha..kidding kidding..like I v pretty can say others like tat..= = ..

Knew one or two new friends from IC...the one on my left is college friend..haha..

Deloitte Inside View

It is a business programme organised by one of the "Big Four" to attract talents ( like me..wahaha!!!) Ivy, Andrea and I travelled to Coventry station for this programme and unlucky accidents kept happening for the whole morning..I am the only normal one. hehehe...other than ACCIDENTALLY dropped my railware ticket on the floor and changed tube unnecessarily.

1. Andrea did not have sufficient cash and had to queque again when she was buying ticket.
2. Ivy inserted her credit card into the hole under the real one..and kena stuck.
3. We were late for the train, the train was late for the coach and so the coach was gone. 3 girls tried to get a cab but none of us knew the hotel address....we were calling like almost everybody for help!

Eh..the above details are unnecessary and just rubbish. haha..

I learnt pretty lot from this programme and I have realised that I am so small as compared to the complicated business world where the certificates always count. First year undergraduate is like a chick that knows nothing at all! Anyway, I am still aiming to earn loads of money!

One thing to mention, everything is FREE!! FREE! FREE! The railway ticket (108 pounds) is refoundable, the hotel room is free (including internet, television, etc), the delicious 3 meals a day is free..oh god, I am actually missing the hotel..T_T...

There were 40 of us, all from many different schools. They are all outgoing and friendly...can see from the picture? haha..

And I get to dress like an OL!! ..still, the heels hurt me like hell

Holiday

God damn it, I am shivering like hell and I stupidly covered myself in a thick blanket while sitting in front of my desk, typing in a long forgotten blog. It was not until now that I remembered this and somehow I have all the free time in the whole world for me to update my life.

Other than that, yes, I have finally changed my horrible layout and in front of my eyes, it is a pinkish, girlish, so-unlike-me blog template. SKY BLUE is definitely better but I am too lazy to check out the color code and edit it again...

Eeeesh....I am still shivering!!

I have been looking forward to this day for so long! ( since week 1..XD...) Today is the last day of week 10, and as usual, I have skipped class again. I do not think the teacher cares about me anymore..and seriously, I am doomed. Well..lets not talk about this first. I need RELAXING!

There is so much to do during the holiday and I gotta catch up all the work, yes, I slacked almost daily during the term...arghh...damn, cannot I just stop talking about studies!?

Ming, James, Ivy, Ivy's friend, Dorothy, Andrea, my brother and I met up for dinner. Havent seen those college friends for a while so yeah, talking and eating from 6 to 9pm! We kinda have to leave at 9pm because the seats were reserved by the others at 9. ( we were in ChinaTown)..

We did not plan to go home yet so we went to Funland, wasting our money on those meaningless shooting, racing and dancing games. Note: I am not rich and I do not always do that..but you know, it is the last day of schooL!! haha.....

I wont go into the details but it was FUN! Havent had such a fun in a long time...oops..or maybe not, I am exaggerating. hehee...

The Crazy Two - Andrea and James decided to go to the movie after that and to be honest, I would follow them if I do not have to go home at 11. T_T...Other normal people just went home and rest. I was extremely exhausted and yet I could not fall asleep, thats why here I am~~

Loads of friends were either going home or going abroad for Christmas while I am stuck here like a piece of shit. Even some of Singapore friends are going to Malaysia! Argh, this is making me soooo JEALOUS! so yeah, STOP!

Hmm..I forget to write about Christmas Party, The Deloitte Inside View and Taizhong Mayor's public lecture.
